Conservatives call-in Labour's toilet closure plans

Westgate

Cllrs Dyer, Reid and Storer have "called-in" Labour's plans to close a number of toilets across the City, including 3 in the Uphill Lincoln area alone. As a result of this, the Council's Select Scrutiny Committee will have to re-examine the decision and we will be encouraging that they go back and re-open the toilets.

We do not believe that the Council have taken on board the massive public opposition to these plans and feel that they would be negatively impacting on residents and businesses when they need our support most.
