Rachel Hubbard is the Conservative Lincolnshire County Councillor for Bracebridge. She was born in Lincoln, educated at the local schools Rachel is currently Director of a Communications company and in her spare time is actively involved in the Conservative Party and local and national charities that raise awareness of poverty issues.
Having spent four years as a District Councillor she has much experience of dealing with difficult issues. Whilst a District Councillor Rachel championed affordable housing for local people, access to leisure facilities, promoting tourism and providing access to vital services for the older people and those in need.
Rachel’s main concerns for the area are the current lack of facilities for young people, pushing for permanent improvements in access to services for all residents and seeing sensible solutions to local traffic problems.
Working hard for you at Lincolnshire County Council Rachel is Executive Support for Community Safety which includes: Fire and Rescue, Trading Standards, Emergency Planning and the Youth Offending Service. She is also a member of the Economic Scrutiny Committee.
Outside bodies to which Rachel is appointed: Lincoln Civic Trust Ltd., Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership and South Kesteven Local Strategic Partnership.
