Following the signing of The Lisbon Treaty early in November 2009 by President Klaus the Conservative Party has released a document containing a series of measures which are summarised in the downloadable PDF document with this announcement and for which the Conservative Party will seek a mandate at the enxt general election as soon as that is called.
In summary - A Conservative government will never allow us to become part of a federal Europe and we have devised a series of specific measures which will protect Britain from this. We will seek a mandate from the British people to implement these measures at the forthcoming general election.
